Job Title: Delegated Authority Claims Senior Consultant

Duration: 6-12 month maternity cover

Rate/Salary: £400-450 per day inside IR35

Location: London/home based (2 days in central London office per week/3 days home working)

The Role:

Our client, a leading Lloyd's of London Insurance company, is seeking a Delegated Authority Claims Senior to join their Governance & Delegated Claims department. The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Prepare, manage and track the Delegated Claims Enhanced MI. Ensure that regular (at least quarterly) Performance calls are held with our Delegated Claims providers for monitoring purposes with outcomes reported on Working closely with the Governance team.
  • Support the Delegated Authority Manager and where directed take ownership with maintaining delegated claims authority relationships from a due diligence perspective across divisions including Lloyd's in a professional, timely and fair manner.
  • Undertake pre-approval and due diligence reviews and referrals as assigned on our Delegated Claims providers and coverholders with claims handling authority ensuring contract documentation is accurate and complies with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that delegated claims bordereaux meets minimum requirements and any bordereaux uploads to systems takes place in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the delegated claims due diligence practices are in adherence to the appropriate internal claims manuals and processes. Feed into any reviews of policies and procedures as directed.

The Candidate:

  • Must have 3+ years experience within a similar and recent role
  • Must have recent UK Insurance industry experience (Lloyd's Insurance preferable)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of claims, TPA's and bordereaux/data entry requirements
  • Strong MS Office skillset including excel required
  • Experienced when liaising with wider team and working collaboratively
