ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
- Interact with different Lines of Business to understand their products and system requirements to manage those products
- Define, document and maintain business workflows with respect to system interaction
- Support launch of new Lines of Business and new products in existing lines
- Define UAT plans and liaise with users for User Acceptance Testing
- Interact with QA team to provide requirements overview and review systesm/regression test results
- Support Business as Usual (BAU) requirements such as tweaking policy forms, system workflow etc.
- Debug issues identified by business users in Live or Test environments by debugging root cause
- Liaise with Operations team to support the back office and UW shared services groups
- Partner with the Accounting team to define current bottle necks and define solution options
- Bring best practices and collaboration as the company grows
- Support company's audit (internal & external) and security needs
WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF SYSTEMS & SOFTWARE:
- At least 3 years' experience as a BA with good understanding of SDLC methodologies like Waterfall & Agile
- Insurance industry experience a MUST
- Strong understanding of accounting function and basic understanding of finance principles
- Experience with policy Admin systems like IMS is a plus
- Visio and workflow design skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Solid communication skills - verbal, written and presentation
- Ability to quickly adapt to new and evolving situations
