My client, a global Insurer and ReInsurer, are looking for an enthusiastic and talented junior catastrophe modeller / exposure analyst to join their dynamic team. The business covers multiple lines of business, including cyber, terrorism, casualty and space amongst others, has several live syndicates, and interaction with ILS funds.
Responsibilities:
- analytical support to UW, actuaries, capital modelling, risk managers
- support pricing, rollup, analytics, management information and reporting
- ensure the accuracy and quality of exposure data
- ad hoc support across EM
Candidates must have the following:
- 1 year CAT Modelling or Exposure Management experience
- minimum of 2:1 or higher in Geography/Maths or relevant degree
- A in Maths and/or Geography at A Level
- good understanding of the London Market
- experience with Excel, VBA and SQL
