A global insurance is looking to hire a Senior Claims Director - Reinsurance for their casualty reinsurance claims team. In this role, you will be a technical lead within the reinsurance claims team and handle complex reinsurance casualty cases, whilst also providing technical guidance and oversight for other Adjusters. Claims will range from mid to complex reinsurance casualty and some commercial property cases including large losses. You will also drive reinsurance strategy and manage key business relationships.
Key/Skills Experience Required:
- 5-10+ years complex claims handling experience, ideally within reinsurance casualty but other complex, litigation claims experience considered
- Exposure to litigation and coverage investigation essential
- Exceptional customer service capability. Excellent relationship management capability
- Strong data & analytic skills including advanced MS Excel
- Bachelors Degree essential. Adjuster License highly preferred.
This role is on a hybrid schedule from Stamford CT (3 days in office/2 days remote) with an excellent salary of $160,000-$180,000 plus up to 20% annual bonus, along with a clear career path for the future.
