Oliver James are currently representing a global assurance company in their search for a Business Unit Compliance Officer.
The business is currently going through a transformation, to become a more customer-focused business, offering home finance and annuities propositions.
The purpose of the role is to provide the Annuities business with expert advice and compliance monitoring, ensuring the business is compliant with regulatory requirements. You will be located between 1st Line Business and 2nd Line Compliance function, working under the Compliance Business Support Manager.
To be considered for the role:
- You need to have detailed knowledge of the retirement income sector (understanding relevant regulations and managing regulatory risk), specifically individual and bulk annuities
- Experience in providing Compliance oversight at a business level
- Experience in Compliance monitoring
- Strong Stakeholder management
