Network Engineer

  • Exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and delivery focused Network Team, responsible for maintaining all areas of the network.
  • Responsibility for ensuring services are available to the business, through support, configuration, security and management of firewalls, routing & switching, Load Balancers, and voice and video.
  • Delivering positive business outcomes through working within the Scrum methodology.

This role will be encompass part of the Network Team, ensuring the bank systems and facilities are maintained in order to deliver service to customers. Through understanding the Bank's Risk Management Framework, and complying with the frameworks, you will proactively champion good outcomes for all customers.
The team is responsible for security, implementation, management, security, and monitoring to ensure the Bank's systems remain resilient and available.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and maintain the network and software architecture, ensure it is resilient and always available.
  • Monitoring and reporting on any security breaches or issues that may be detected.
  • Ensure that all new infrastructure receives appropriate testing in a safe test environment.
  • Responsibility for ensuring services are available to the business, through support, configuration, security and management of firewalls, routing & switching, Load Balancers, and voice and video.


Who are you?

  • Strong troubleshooting / diagnostic skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Cisco CCNP minimum.
  • Pal Alto/ Cisco Firepower Firewalls
  • Cisco Routing (OSPF, BGF) and Switching
  • Cloud experience (Azure /AWS/ Cloudflare)
  • ITIL Framework
