Exciting opportunity to join a successful on-line retail business who have been going through a huge transformation to digitise their whole business. As they now grow the UX Design team we are looking for an experienced UX/UI Designer to join the team.

The offices are based in central Liverpool. The business is currently working fully remotely and will offer flexible home working after Covid. The salary on offer is up to £40,000 plus full benefits.

Essential

  • Proven/Significant Experience of Commercial UX Design working with Product Teams in an agile / lean development environment.
  • Expertise in UX software such as Sketch, InVision, UXPin, Adobe XD, Balsamiq, Figma, Framer, and the like is a must.
  • User research - a portfolio packed with user task creation, user interviews and lab sessions (both remote / local and moderated / unmoderated) along with detailed analysis and prioritisation of findings that translate into clear presentations for wider stakeholders.
  • Highly skilled and experienced in creating interactive prototypes that allow team members and customers to provide clear feedback.
  • Experienced in leading new and innovative ways of working including managing Design Sprint workshops, championing design thinking and innovating across a model similar to the lean sprint model.
  • Managing full UX lifecycles on projects for e-commerce across desktop, mobile and apps is essential.
  • Good understanding of different frameworks for front-end and back-end web systems along with a deep knowledge of hybrid and native app specifics.
  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first, responsive design and app design.
  • A solid grasp of user-centred design, planning and conducting Conversion Rate Optimisation Programs including - A/B testing along with heuristic analysis including usability/accessibility concerns.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively present and communicate customer journeys, experience maps, design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
  • Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation. Research and showcase knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies.

Desirable

  • Experience working with large, online financial / retail-based businesses designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
  • HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills would be beneficial.
  • A keen interest in everything e-commerce, FinTech and cutting edge in the digital world.
