Opportunity for an experienced Senior Big data engineer to join a leading insurer utilising innovative and new technologies and cloud platforms!
The role:
- Work with multiple teams across data & analytics, data management and governance, IT and digital
- Implement big data technologies for the data transformation, extraction and storage
- Architecture for analytics platform for the business and AI applications
- Engineer and optimise data pipelines
- Working together with data science team to operationalise AI solutions
Candidate Requirements:
-strong knowledge of big data engineering- big data technologies
-strategy and implementation experience with implementation of data and analytics on premise and cloud platforms
Hands on experience with both relational and on relational database
Experience in Hadoop, cloudera and scala
-Experience using python, spark,
-Experience with public cloud- Azure, AWS would be a bonus
